Created for some of the more raw and painful aspects of growing up different. Sometimes angry, sometimes funny, always honest. Sometimes, the language is very harsh because pain is not gentle.

I am determined to chronicle all aspects of living with absolute candor and genuineness. It allows a connection with others at a deep soul level because they see that you understand their struggles when you reveal your own. If you are offended by cursing or expect the beauty you see on my other blog, Whisper Creek, then you may want to avoid this one. This is the very human side of me, the one God plainly sees. It is the part that God is healing. Let that be my witness.

My Rainbow Brothers
love you like no others
hiding undercover
from daddies and mothers.


You want to shout
Hell, I want out!
I'm a dyke and a queer
and I'm gonna say here...

I don't wanna cram it
in your face but dammit!
Always tryin' to hide
thinkin' 'bout suicide.


See family fall away
givin' up every day
Self destructive 'til it hurts
tired of bein' covert.


So I slice and I drink
'til I can't feel, can't think.
They say I need a savior
that who I am is deviant behavior.


But its time to say ENOUGH!
To call their hand, to call their bluff
To live out loud, to say "Its me!"
I wanna live, to just be free.

I want to love as my heart demands
the same as you, can you understand?

I've got a soul, a name you see.


Keep in mind this one final thing
that when you hate, God's name don't bring
